Mission Statement: To promote opportunities for girls, ages 6-25 in impoverished nations to become educated, independent and self-reliant within their communities. To work towards increasing literacy rates, numeracy; promote health and hygiene amongst under privileged females internationally.
• Assess and focus on the holistic needs of girls/women within their communities
• Provide financial, social and health services that would empower women/girls and to promote their independence (formal schooling; creating job/training opportunities; protecting women and children from (sexual) exploitation) not dependency
• Develop and foster programs to curtail sexual promiscuity and educate about HIV/AIDS
• Work within the guidelines of relevant current government and international legislation (e.g. Human Rights Act)
